Hypnotic, unsettling, melancholic, lulling; all these aspects make up a strangely engaging set of pieces, with the final track blending rhythmic repetition, sustained chords and drops of piano colour to create a twenty-minute meditative track that leads ultimately back to where it began. Like a synth and piano answer to Terry Riley's epic minimalist masterpiece, In C, this track travels without moving, and is worth the journey.
